The Galileo Affair - Demo

A three piece band from Wareham, MA. Found about them thanks to their "What Sound Does a Mastodon Make?!" cover. Currently they are working on new songs. They released a demo, but they say their current songs (which are not released yet) reflects more the influence by TFoT.
In the meanwhile enjoy their demo.

Red Museum - New Album

Now Red Museum's new album is available for hearing on their MySpace and on their Facebook Bandpage. It's titled Post Empire, and you can download for free on their Facebook bandpage (Ilike app) their song titled Love Never Dies.

This album has followed a totally different direction, it's not like their older TFoT-ish songs. Altough there are other songs Ilia published on their Youtube channel that doesn't appear on this album. So I think they are going into a experimentation phase, and afterwards release their power.

Ghidorah - Self Titled

When TFoT recorded Ghostship demos independently, it was recorded by Gordon edward Greenwood III and Dustin Kochel of the bands Bird Shaped Holes in the Sky, Physical Demon and Ghidorah. The last one, Ghidorah, is a pretty interesting noisecore band form seattle. I say interesting because they remind me a lot the difunct band The Hills Have Eyes -and just found they are related at some point.

Trinitron Meets the Mars People - Mars People Meets Trinitron

If you love math-ish stuff like Tera Melos, Don Caballero, etc, etc, you're gonna love this band. A trio influeced mainly by Japanesse pop, and jappanesse stuff. They describe themselves as Dance/Math rock band from Walnut, California. The band features a combination of musicians that have played and have interacted in the San Gabriel’s ever changing Prog/math/hardcore/Indie scenes. Their sound is a combination of Minus the Bear-esque guitar-taps and Keys, with minimal sophisticated time signatures and a majority of Dance beats.
