Save Us From The Archon - How Terrible, The Undergrowth's Jaws That Tangle.

This Experimental/Post-hardcore/Progressive band is totally recommended to CHON fans, and also to you if you dig progressive and technical guitar riffs and solos. Just go check them out.

TFoT - Live@London (Epic Moment)

Well, I was once told about an epic footage in which Thomas pushed a guy off of the stage for touching his pedals, but never found a proof of it until now. I was sent this video of TFoT in which they feature their song A Man, a Plan, a Canal, Panama, during the pre-Manipulator era. At the part in which Thomas begins using one of his Line 6 pedals a kid touches one of them... and you know the rest of the story. (About min 4:24)

Tim Ward: Trash Kids - Get Lost EP

I know some of you still wondering what has been Timothy Ward up to lately. He used to be making music under the name of Messedupcoyote, which was a sort of dead wave/electro-punk project. Now, he's been involved in this new proyect named Trash Kids, which consists basically of him and The Parallax View, related to psychedelic, drone, electronic music:

Timothy Ward:

"I sing, play guitar among many other things
its a collab project with a friend
2 man super group
myself and the parallax view
messedupcoyote + parallax view = trash kids"

Tyler Koykas - Beats, Samples, Synths, Keys, Guitar, Bass, Backup, Vocals, Mixing
Timothy Ward: Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar, Standup Bass, Siled Guitar, Backup Keys & Syunths, Lyrics

You can get a free download straight from their Bandcamp

Cegonha - Demo

There is a new band in the Portugal area, influenced mainly by The Fall of Troy and ATD-I, their sound is pretty original and powerful. Definitely you should support these guys.
André Pimentel:
"Cegonha was born in January 2012 , and from the start it's objective was to play a fusion of styles that they liked and make some fun music out of it. Cegonha's influences are maindly Fall of Troy , At The Drive-in, Orchid, Bloc Party, Jamiroquai, And So I Watch You From Afar and many others."

You can also support these guys by voting on them on so they can play a show on a local festival (that really would mean a lot to them):

Weye - Friends, Family & Others

Math/Instrumental band influenced by lots of epic bands such as Piglet, Don Caballero, Mogwai, Godspeed You Black Emperor, etc. I would say this band is a sort of combination of Math and Post-rock, pretty kickass. Check em out.

They've decided to put up their discography for free on their bandcamp, plus another album, which was from their older stuff when they were named Sarah and Octopus -basically, demo versions of their Selftitled album. They use a lot of tappings and instrumental sections

At The Drive-in to Reunite 2012

I know there are a lot of ATD-I fans in here as well, so I couldn't hesitate in posting this big news here! The band has launched a website and a twitter account announcing their re-union (hope this is not a troll or something). Honestly can't wait to hear new songs by them or their older stuff.
What do you think about this?
